“Nós, Voz, Eles” is a project by Brazilian singer-songwriter Sandy, which consists of duets with Brazilian musical artists in a studio at her home. The songs included in the project were released individually and preceded by their respective episodes, which are part of the web series “Nós, Voz, Eles”, where the process of creating the songs is shown. After the individual release of the songs, they were compiled into two albums, released in 2018 and 2022. In 2023, the singer releases the live version of the project, in video and audio, recorded during the tour with the same name, bringing together artists who previously recorded songs with the singer, and some recent singles.

Like a collection of short stories from a book (think Raymond Carver or Roald Dahl), Sequence is a body of work that was formed from common thematic constructs: loneliness, acceptance and trying to make amends with the past. Sometimes comedic, sometimes sad, always soulful, Sequence sets out to explore those small pieces of life that usually go unnoticed but make all the difference in the world.

The synopsis was loosely inspired by an argument by Paulo José called Cidade das Formigas. It was based on what happened in the city of Formiga, in Minas Gerais, where women work for large clothing manufacturers in the country. In Formiga Real, women guarantee a large part of their families' livelihood with this work.

With her spontaneity, Anka meets old and new faces, one of whom is Věra, the granddaughter of the former administrator of the Lomnický castle, and her boyfriend, a young detective named Přemek. When Bubeník is found shot dead with a gun in his hand, Přemek is not convinced it was suicide and begins to uncover the past not only of the dead man, but also of his potential father-in-law and his friends, former political prisoners. Gradually, a whole series of people appear whom the ruthless Bubeník hurt in his lifetime...
